Cancellation Policy

At StudyPilot, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that could force you to postpone or cancel your booked tutoring session. Our cancellation policy is designed to balance the needs of our valued students and our dedicated tutors, while complying with Queensland's consumer laws.

1.0 Cancellation by the Student

If you need to cancel a booked session, please do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. This allows us to allocate the slot to another student who may be waiting for a session. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will not be eligible for a refund, unless the cancellation is due to a reasonable cause.

2.0 Rescheduling

If you wish to reschedule your session, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred time, subject to the availability of our tutors.

3.0 No Show

If a student fails to show up for a scheduled session without any prior notice of cancellation or rescheduling, the session will be considered as 'completed', and no refund will be provided, unless the no-show was due to a reasonable cause.

4.0 Cancellation by StudyPilot

In the rare event that we need to cancel a booked session due to unforeseen circumstances or tutor unavailability, we will inform you at the earliest possible time. You will have the option to reschedule the session or receive a full refund.

5.0 Refunds

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 7-10 business days.
